The Sanford Health color shades palette includes four colors used to complement the primary colors.

Sanford Health – Primary Logo

The primary Sanford Health logo is made up of two components: the Sanford wordmark and the Health descriptor. These two components are always placed in a fixed vertical relationship and should never be altered, modified or recreated in any way. This version is the standard for printed, digital and any other applications that require the complete Sanford Health treatment.

Sanford – Provider-Based Billing Logo

The provider-based billing Sanford Health logo is solely comprised of the Sanford name. It should never be altered, modified or recreated in any way. This version was designed for special uses, including signage and promotional items, but its use is dictated by provider-based billing guidelines.

Use of the Lorraine Cross requires authorization

Do not use the Lorraine Cross independently from the Sanford or Sanford Health logo. Requests for standalone use in special circumstances will be considered. To inquire about authorization, send your request to  Marketing Compliance.

DESIGNERS AND VENDORS: Do not extract the Lorraine Cross from the Sanford and Sanford Health logos. The standalone version is a separate file. 

Clear Space

For the Sanford Health logo to communicate effectively, it should not be crowded or overwhelmed by other elements. “Clear space” refers to the area surrounding the logo that should be kept free of visual distraction. No graphic elements or text of any kind should be placed within this clear space area, X=D^®. (Also applies to the secondary logo.)

Minimum Size

The minimum size using optimal reproduction methods can be measured by the height of the Sanford logo. The minimum height is 3/16” (.1875”). The minimum size included here should accommodate most applications but whatever the reproduction technique, be sure the logo is never smaller than what can be clearly executed. (Also applies to the secondary logo.)

Unauthorized Use

The integrity of the Sanford Health identity is diminished when the Sanford logo is manipulated or incorrectly applied to unauthorized documents or items.

Unauthorized versions and unacceptable usage of the logo place its legal protection at risk. Any variation or alteration of the logo, however small, is unacceptable. Below are some examples of improper use. Under no circumstances should these or any unauthorized variations be used. (Also applies to the secondary logo.)

Sports Venues

Use of the Sanford logo is by approval only.

Permanent flooring: Use the Sanford logo with registered trademark symbol, not Sanford Health, in permanent flooring in any sports venue.
